Join our Mission

So you are inspired by Biom's mission. And you can envision how we plan to achieve it, as outlined in Biom's roadmap. This world is attainable and you want to be part of it.

  • The question is "can I help make it a reality?"

If you're considering that question, then the aswer is definitely yes. Biom is an early-stage startup. We are going to need all the help we can get. We need visionary farmers, investors, and influencers who are able to see beyond the world that exists, to the world that could be. And more importantly, we need to build a powerful team to execute on that vision.

Join our Team

We are looking for smart, highly-motivated teammates with outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

  • Are you able to learn new skills quickly and take on flexible roles necessary for the success of an early-stage startup?
  • Do you embody the five values of Scrum: courage, focus, commitment, respect, and openness?
  • Do you have any experience in sales, marketing, finance, agile project management, vegetable oil production, or early-stage startups?
  • Are you willing to work at first on a part-time or consultant basis with the possibility of transitioning to full-time as we get closer to launching our first product?
  • Are you willing to receive a compensation package that is largely equity-based while we work through the process of securing funding?

If so, we want to talk with you, even if your resume or work history doesn't reflect how amazing you are in person. (And if you're not sure, but you're inspired by our vision, we'd still love to see your resume). Send us a message indicating what role(s) you'd like to play, your contact information, and why you would be an awesome addition to our team. Please include your resume and/or your LinkedIn page.

Farm with Us

Biom's first priority is to grow the market for high omega-3 camelina oil, to the point that it is the primary cooking oil produced for human consumption. We believe this will have a significantly positive impact on overall levels of human health. This objective will require scaling the production of camelina exponentially over the next couple of decades; and we will need the help of a lot farmers to make it happen.

During the same period, we expect the market for corn (as well as soybeans and alfalfa to a slightly lesser extent) to decline significantly, as described in our roadmap. This will likely prove disasterous for many conventional corn, soybean, and alfalfa farmers, but will present opportunities for forward-looking growers willing to explore alternatives.

To our knowledge, there are currently no large-scale regenerative organic farmers growing camelina. So we want to work with you to help develop best practices. Camelina is generally fall-seeded and grown as a winter cover crop. Given it's early maturity (harvest is generally in June or July), camelina offers the potential for intercropping with soybeans or other legumes to get two cash-crops per year on the same land.

We are looking for farmers interested in partnering with us as we grow the market for regenerative organic camelina oil. Are you a conventional farmer, but interested in learning how to terminate cover crops using winter-kill strategies or roller-crimping? We want to hear from you too!

Down the road we will also be looking for organic suppliers for all of the ingredients listed in our snackfoods plan. And we are also interested in flax fiber as potential structural reinforcement for our 3D printed buildings. So if you grow any of those crops, please get in touch with us as well.

Invest in Biom

We are not seeking investment at this time, however we may be in 2024, or early 2025. If you can envision the possibilities outlined in our roadmap, then you will understand why we believe Biom could eventually be one of the largest and most transformative companies in the world. We are interested in connecting with potential investors who resonate with our mission, and are willing to stick with us at least until we IPO.

Interested? Please get in touch with us. Send us your contact info, whether or not you are accredited, the general size of an investment you could imagine making with us, and anything else you care to share about yourself or your thoughts/questions about Biom.
